Arsenal manager, Unai Emery, has moved to bolster his midfield, with a move for Barcelona’s Denis Suarez. Sky Italia reports that the negotiations are at an advanced stage and a deal is close. Roma and AC Milan are also interested in Suarez, but Emery knows the player from his time at Sevilla and is keen to work with him again. The 24-year-old has found himself out of favour at the Nou Camp, making just six appearances for Barça this season, and the club are ready to offload the midfielder for a reported £14m. Arsenal, meanwhile, are hoping to sign the Spaniard as a long-term replacement for the departing Aaron Ramsey, whose contract is up at the end of the season.
